In 2021, Netflix promised that there would be a new film launch every single Friday. And so far, the streaming service has kept to its term. In excess of the past couple of months, it has been house to movies like Malcolm & Marie, The Mitchells vs. The Equipment, and Army of the Dead. The most up-to-date of those releases is Blood Red Sky, a German vampire film directed by Peter Thorwarth. This is the fourth 7 days in a row Netflix has shipped a horror film – next the Fear Avenue series – and it was definitely fantastic.
Blood Purple Sky follows Nadja (Peri Baumeister), a lady with a mysterious disease. She and her son Elias (Carl Anton Koch) board a aircraft in hopes she can find remedy. Also aboard the aircraft are a group of terrorists: Eightball (Alexander Scheer), Monthly bill Morris (Gordon Brown), Berg (Dominic Purcell), Bastian Buchner (Kai Ivo Baulitz), Karl (Roland Moller), and Curtiz (Chidi Ajufo). Once their plan unfolds Nadja, her son, passenger Farid (Kais Setti), and the relaxation of the passengers struggle again. Nadja’s top secret is exposed and chaos ensues.
Thorwarth and Stefan Holts wrote the script for the film. The group put alongside one another a slow-paced movie that builds to quite extraordinary circumstances. Each individual scene builds on best of the other, and we even get flashbacks that explain Nadja’s situation. Some of the acting could be far better, but I experience like that had a lot more to do with me seeing it dubbed than something. Blood Red Sky is fantastic on complex conditions, and thoroughly pleasurable.

The cinematography from Yoshi Heimrath is incredible. There are some wonderful non-action sequences as very well in the cargo that are quite wonderful. Dascha Dauenhauer gives us a damn superior rating that matches each and every component of this film and its German origins. The staff that was place jointly for this film did very perfectly and I’m hoping this receives a lot more foreign films recognition in the U.S.
Blood Pink Sky is one particular of the superior vampire films I have seen lately. It set me in a head-body of a cross amongst 30 Times of Night time and Blade II, my two beloved vampire movies. The vampires in this film are considerably extra primal than most we’ve observed. Hopefully, we get much more vampire movies of this stature, that depart you nervous, anxious, and waiting for the following scene. This was pure chaos and it was so substantially exciting. – Rascal F. Kennedy
